" Wow, this was such a great experience. I've bought a house before and working with a realtor is not always the best experience. Everyone knows a Realtor and they usually hound you once they know you are looking to purchase a home. Not Christie with Perfect Place Realty. When I told her I would be looking for a home soon, she gave me some great advice on where to start and let her know when I was ready. Again, I've worked with other Realtors before but none of them ever made me feel as comfortable with the entire process as Christie did. She sent me some lenders that might help but was in no way pushy on using them. Once I was approved for a loan, we or actually she went to work on finding a home for me. With the market being as competitive as it was, she knew there would be multiple offers on any house we went after and then gave me the best advice. She told me that if this is the house I wanted, then let's swing for the fences. In this advice, she said it might be advantageous to write a letter to the seller because YOU NEVER KNOW. This letter was to explain a little about myself being a single dad trying to move closer to my daughter so I could spend more time with her, reasons I liked the house, complimenting them on how they have kept up the house and to even submit a pic or two. I was a little hesitant at first, but thought oh well, it couldn't hurt. Well it worked. It seems that there were several bids higher than mine. Yet, the seller received my letter, was a single mom herself and knows what it's like to want to be closer to your child. She liked the compliments I gave her on the house and with a little adjustment on my bid, she chose to sell the house to me. I've been in the home over a month now and couldn't be more happy with it. Thank you Christie for all the hard work you put into helping me find my Perfect Place. A 5 Star rating is 100% deserved. You're the best. "
